In
a competitive workplace
a crowded conference
a lively gathering
a bustling market
a noisy mall
a structured classroom
a rigorous school
a protective home
a stretched ward
a time-pressed clinic
a hurried consultation

For those who experienced being thought you are weak, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being told it’s all in your mind, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being asked to snap out of it, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being called lazy or slow, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being said a failure by  your doing, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being commented as lacking in faith, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being viewed as dangerous or violent, we walk with you in the silence.
For those who experienced being stigmatized, we walk with you in the silence.

We are only human, but we are trying.
Now we walk with you in the silence; someday, we shall walk together in the open.
